Racecourse Courtesy Bus

We offer a free raceday courtesy bus service to and from Musselburgh Racecourse servicing the park and ride facilities at:

Wallyford train station for the Edinburgh - North Berwick Line. - Exit the train station towards the Park and Ride, the Lothian Motorcoaches bus will be located at the bus stop next to the Park and Ride https://w3w.co/feast.charmingly.probe

Newcraighall train station for the Borders railway - Walk towards the Park and Ride areas and the Lothian Motorcoach will collect at the end of the footpath.

To Musselburgh Racecourse

There are Roadworks at Wallyford Station that impact the Shuttle pick up location. Please follow the signs for the Park & Ride car park, turn left on ‘The Loan’ and continue to the first bus stop pointing towards Musselburgh on Haddington Road (A199) named ‘Galt Road’.

To Train Stations

The bus will depart from the corner of Millhill and Linkfield Road before travelling to Wallyford and then Newcraighall. Please see the timetable below:

Wallyford to Musselburgh Racecourse
A shuttle bus will run approximately every 20 minutes between 11:30am and last pick up at 2pm

The buses will depart from the corner of Millhill and Linkfield Road;

Musselburgh Racecourse to Wallyford Station
A shuttle bus will run approximately every 20 minutes between 4:50pm and last departure 7:10pm

Musselburgh Racecourse to Newcraighall Station
